         How to Change Your Password on a Windows XP Computer
 
Before changing your password, be sure to review the Center for Aging's
memo on creating strong passwords here.
 
1. Single click the 'Start' menu.
2. Single click 'Control Panel'. 
3. Double click 'User Accounts'. 
4. Double click on the account for which you wish to change the password.
5. Single click 'Change my password'.  
6. Follow the directions on the screen.
