How to Help the Help Desk - Be Prepared With the Following

1. A detailed description of the problem.
2. A record of error messages exactly as they appeared on the screen
   so the Help Desk can do some pre-research.
3. The operating system in use.
4. The software and version in use.
5. Whether this is a recurring problem.
6. User contact or callback information.
7. A willingness to learn a new trick or two.
