re: Change in PC Support

As of today, Wed. Aug. 18, 2004, both Heather and Andy have taken
on responsibilities that preclude their being able to continue supporting
your pc computing needs. Therefore, I will become your primary contact for
support of laptops and desktops running traditional Windows operating
systems, such as Windows 9x and XP, as well as such mainstream software as
MS Office, email clients, ssh clients, and web browsers.

The best way to contact me is via email, irv@geri.duke.edu, with a
description of your problem, the verbatim text of your error message/s and
what you have already done to try to fix the problem. This way I can do
some preemptive research to more quickly find a resolution, and I can
also easily track the progress of the issue in my logs.

Duke's Learning & Organizational Development department has just
come out with its fall workshop schedule. In it you will find a number of
introductory computer courses. Check them out
here.
Durham Tech. also offers basic computer courses at very reasonable prices. Check them out here.
