Announcing CFAPRINT1, the Aging Center's Newest Shared Printer
Do you print from your pc programs to bigbox? (Bigbox is the black
and white printer that has been in room 1502 for years.) If so, please
contact me to have our newest printer, CFAPRINT1, added to your pc. There
will be NO effect on the printing that you do from the UNIX programs
that you might use.
This will have two beneficial outcomes. First, it will reduce the
printing load on bigbox, an already old printer. And, it will enable both
printers, bigbox and cfaprint1, to receive jobs from a much more limited
number of sources. This should improve performance and reduce the number
of times that bigbox gets confused.
Remember this is ONLY if you print to bigbox from such pc programs
as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, Eudora or Outlook.
