New Format for Aging Center Computer User ID's

The Medical Center is making a push toward reducing the number of computer
id's for each person by implementing a technology called Active Directory.
In so doing they will be using NetID's (mostly) for all computer id's. (The
NetID has historically been referred to as the ACPUB id.) All new employees
are being given NetID's; all existing emloyees were issued NetID's a year or
so ago. You have one, even if you didn't hear about it until just now.

Consequently, all new geri computer id's will be the same as the user's
NetID. The form to request a geri computer account has been changed
accordingly. As before, this form can be found at:

CFA Forms

More information and changes regarding the implementation of Active
Directory will be coming over the next month.
